Students borrowing through one of the preferred EFT lenders will have Stafford Loan funds automatically applied to their university account to cover educational charges. Any excess funds from the Stafford Loan may be direct deposited to a personal checking or savings account designated by the student. (Please note: only excess Stafford and PLUS loan funds received by EFT may be direct deposited to a personal bank account). Non-EFT participants will be notified when their checks have arrived and when they will be available for pick-up/endorsement.

The university earns interest on Stafford and PLUS loan electronic funds transfer monies. These funds are used to assist in the operation of the university.
