Using QuikPay to pay by Credit Card
Radford University, in partnership with Nelnet Business Solutions, offers
a secure site through which you can make online credit card payments
(American Express, Discover, and MasterCard) to your Radford University
student account charges.
A 2.75% service charge will be charged by the service provider for
processing your payment. This means that the service charge amount is
calculated based on 2.75% of your payment amount. The 2.75% service
charge is charged to your credit card and will appear as a separate item
on your credit card statement. The service charge is not a fee assessed by
Radford University. The service charge is not refundable, even if the
payment to which it relates is cancelled, refunded, credited or charged
back.

If you are a RU student making a payment to your account:
- Log in to the RU Portal with your user name and password by clicking HERE
- From the 'My RU' page, click"My Accounts" tab
- Under "Quick Links" on the right side of the screen select"Make Payment"
- Select from the drop down list if the payment is for Highlander Choice (RU's payment plan program)
- Enter the payment amount, then click "Continue"
- Enter your credit card and contact information in the fields provided, then click "Continue"
- Please verify that your credit card information is correct, then click "Confirm"
- Your payment receipt will appear; please print this receipt for your records
If you are a RU student wishing to set up an authorized payer on your
account:
In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, your
educational records and your student account information may not be
released to a third party (e.g. your spouse, parents, sponsor, etc.)
without your written permission. By creating an authorized payer, you
are giving written consent for that individual to view your credit card
payment history and to make payments to your account.
- Log in to the RU Portal with your user name and password by clicking HERE
- From the "My RU" page, on the My Accounts tab under "Quick Links" select "Manage Account"
- From the menu on the left, select "Authorize Payers" and click the "Add New" box
- Enter the authorized payer's information and click "Add"
- The authorized payer has now been created and will be notified through email
If you are an authorized payer making a payment to a student's account:
- Log in to QuikPay with the Login name and Password set up by your student by clicking HERE
- Change your default password if prompted
- From the menu on the left, select "Make Payment"
- Select from the drop down list if the payment is for Highlander Choice (RU's payment plan program)
- Enter the payment amount, then click "Continue"
- Enter your credit card and contact information in the fields provided, then click "Continue"
- Please verify that your credit card information is correct, then click "Confirm"
- Your payment receipt will appear; please print this receipt for your records
